At least once a week–or maybe daily–I see a piece of news that brings William Gibson to mind, and makes me think that the various futures he’s been imagining so brilliantly for nearly 30 years are already all around us, or even a few years behind us at this point. Lately, it’s been the many stories on cyber-security–the RSA hack, the Citi hack, the CIA hack, Anonymous, etc. Today it was something a bit different, but no less Gibson-esque (from NYT): Upending Anonymity, These Days the Web Unmasks Everyone
